Jürgen Norbert Klopp (German pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 16 June 1967) is a German professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Premier League club Liverpool. Often credited with popularising the football philosophy known as Gegenpressing, Klopp is regarded by many as one of the best managers in the world.

The Spaniard, who signed for Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer, has been largely out of action for the Reds after picking up an injury in October's Merseyside derby.
Thiago returned on December 30, in Liverpool's 0-0 draw with Newcastle before making an appearance in the defeat by Southampton.
Klopp most recently played the midfielder in Liverpool's 4-1 FA Cup victory over Aston Villa on January 8, but Thiago has been used sparingly in the three matches.
