A teenager who tragically died aged just 16 after developing a blood clot on her brain has given the gift of life to others.
Layla Khan - whose organs were donated after her death - had just started college this year and had been attending for the past three months.
However, she suffered from painful menstrual cycles and was advised to take a contraceptive pill by some friends to help with her symptoms.
She began to take them on November 25 but by December 5 she had begun to experience headaches and by the end of the week she began vomiting.
