Theo Walcott insists Arsenal "were happy to finish fourth" during his time at the Emirates. The forward spent 12 years at the Gunners playing under Arsene Wenger, but silverware was at a premium.
Walcott only won three FA Cups in over a decade having signed for the club in 2006. Wenger, having been a huge success in his first 10 years as manager, presided over a noticeable decline before leaving in 2018.
It saw Arsenal fade from title challengers to top four hopefuls with the club finishing sixth in his final year. On several occasions prior to that it looked as if they would miss out on Champions League football before they rallied late on.
