'The Wild Robot' Star Lupita Nyong'o Is Adorned In Pearls at Oscars 2025

justjared.comLupita Nyong’o is all smiles as she arrives at the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The 42-year-old Oscar-winning actress is in attendance in support of her animated film The Wild Robot, which is nominated in three categories.
The film, which is streaming on Peacock, is up for Best Animated Feature, Best Original Score and Best Sound! Lupita‘s custom Chanel look took 660 hours of work and there were 22,410 embroidery elements required to make it.
The long and pleated ivory charmeuse dress with a resille bustier is embroidered with silver crystal bugle beads and embellished with pearls and silver crystal braids, pearls straps, pearls cabochons, pearls tassels, and an ivory satin belt.
