‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Season 2 Sets Spring 2025 Premiere at AMC, First Teaser Reveals Maggie and Negan’s Return
variety.comJennifer Maas TV Business Writer The first teaser for “The Walking Dead: Dead City” Season 2 was unveiled Friday out of New York Comic Con, revealing that Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan‘s Negan will return in the AMC drama series in Spring 2025.
The NYCC panel previewing the second season of the “Walking Dead” sequel series featured AMC’s “Walking Dead” franchise chief content officer Scott M.
Gimple, executive producers and stars Morgan and Cohan (who will be making her series directorial debut this season), and fellow “Dead City” Season 2 cast members Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek and Dascha Polanco.
AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Dead City” follows fan-favorite characters Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) as they travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland, according to the series description.
