The UK’s best and worst airports have been named in Which?’s annual survey, with Liverpool John Lennon Airport being named the best in the UK.

The consumer magazine surveyed nearly 4,000 people about their experiences at airports over a 12 month period. Which? members were invited to rate the airports across eleven categories, including seating, staff, toilets and queues at check in, bag drop, passport control and security.

A customer score was calculated based on a combination of overall satisfaction and likeliness to recommend. The 3,842 Which?

members surveyed were asked about their experiences from June 2022 until June 2023 - not factoring in the current summer holiday period - and were also asked to report on how long they spent queuing at security.
