Following the success of its first two seasons, Peacock has renewed The Traitors for two additional seasons. Filming for the third season of the reality competition series recently wrapped in the Scottish Highlands, the streamer has picked it up for seasons four and five.
The Alan Cumming-hosted show is nominated for four Emmys for Season 2, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Series, and Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Series.
Cumming was also nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program. The Traitors is a competition series where contestants, known as the faithful, work together on missions to win a prize of up to $250,000 while trying to uncover the secret players working against them to try and banish them from the game.
During Deadline’s Contender TV: The Nominees, Cumming told us why he loves the show, saying, “I love being at the castle. I love everybody there.
