TV icon Stephen Fry has reportedly become the first celeb to sign up for the star-studded version of The Traitors.The 67 year old Cambridge graduate was reportedly thrilled to be asked and didn't hesitate to say yes after being hooked on the first two series of the popular backstabbing show.
Other big names rumoured to be involved include Ricky Gervais, Kathy Burke and Jonathan Ross, but show bosses aren't rushing to fill the castle seats.The spin-off show was announced earlier this month after the original series became a massive hit in December 2022.The celebrity version will feature some of the original's many famous fans and Claudia Winkleman will return as host.
It's set to air after the third series hits our screens in January. OK! has contacted the BBC for comment.The murder-mystery-style game show has been a huge hit with viewers.
Contestants are chosen to become powerful Traitors who can eliminate their rivals in a bid to win a large cash prize.The Faithful must try to figure out who has been selected and thwart their money-grabbing plans.
