The Teacher Will Mellor's life off-screen from marriage to family tragedy

The current series centres around art teacher Dani, who begins an affair with her friend and colleague Jimmy Spencer (portrayed by Will Mellor) amidst the disappearance of a school pupil.
As events take a sinister turn, the art teacher finds herself risking everything, deceiving her family and close friends. The Teacher, which premieres at 9pm on Monday evening (September 9), is the Bredbury actor's most recent TV series following his role as a confused yet innocent postmaster embroiled in the Post Office Horizon scandal in the ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
The star of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps first graced our screens in Children's Ward in 1990 before moving onto Hollyoaks as James Bolton.
Audiences will recognise him from some dramatic roles including Broadchurch, Line of Duty and Death in Paradise. The Strictly Come Dancing contestant has also secured a number of other significant roles and settled down with his wife and family.
