The son of a beloved grandad who died in a horror motorbike crash on his way to work has paid a heartbreaking tribute. Passionate biker Bruce Huskie, 55, from Stockport, was riding along Tiviot Way near the town centre at around 6am on Saturday, September 7 when he was involved in a collision with a car.

Emergency services immediately responded but Bruce died at the scene. Two people were arrested afterwards on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The Manchester Evening News has also been told he was a foster parent. Now one of his sons, Jason Huskie, has spoken of the enormous impact his devastating loss has had on the family.

He told the M.E.N: "I can't put into words how inspirational my dad was. My dad was Granddad to my beautiful little 3-year-old daughter. "Granddad smiled so bright the day he met his granddaughter, every day coming home from work he would ask her for hugsies, it was the first thing he did." Jason said the bond between his daughter and her grandparents was "unbreakable." "He would teach her many things from riding her bike, drawing, numbers, talking literally everything.
