'The Sims' Movie Officially In the Works at Amazon MGM, Margot Robbie to Produce

A movie adaptation of the incredibly popular video game The Sims is currently in the works! News of the upcoming movie was first revealed earlier this year, with Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley signing on to produce through their LuckyChap production company, and the company behind the game has now confirmed it’s happening. Keep reading to find out the latest… Electronic Arts, aka EA, announced that The Sims movie is in development with Amazon MGM Studios and it will be directed by Kate Herron, who helmed the first season of Loki.
