Barry Ferguson has told Rangers what they must do to help Connor Barron 'go up levels'. The midfielder arrived from Aberdeen in the summer as part of Philippe Clement's rebuild and has established himself in the starting team so far this season.
He's impressed former skipper Ferguson who loves the attitude and energy he brings to the team every time he steps on the park.
He believes he could further develop into a really good midfielder for the Light Blues - but has told his old club what they have to do in order to aid his development and help him reach the potential the now pundit sees in him.
Barron was named on the bench for the Premier Sports Cup last 16 win over St Johnstone at Hampden but was brought on. His display impressed Record Sport columnist Ferguson and he told Go Radio: "I thought when he came on (Connor Barron) against St Johnstone that he was excellent.
