The search for missing woman last seen walking towards a vast, remote forest

A major search operation is underway to find a missing woman who was last seen heading into a Welsh forest. Joanne Jones, 49, was last seen on Monday (October 21).

Dashcam images captured her walking along a road at around 10.05am that day, including one where she is seen waving at the camera.

Specialist officers and mountain rescue teams have been scouring the Llanwonno Forest area in Mid Glamorgan, South Wales, ever since.
