A man has been dragged to court after becoming embroiled in a bitter FIFTEEN-year campaign of abuse to his neighbours that has left them 'like a prisoner in their own home'.
Brendan Murphy, 82, has been locked in the battle with his neighbours, Christopher and Margaret Boyd, for over a decade that has seen the widower fling insults at the couple.
The abuse became so bad that Mr and Mrs Boyd had to build a six high foot fence in front of their privet hedge separating the two properties and install a CCTV camera to chronicle his hate campaign against them.
Murphy was eventually given a restraining order against the couple after being taken to court for harassment in 2011 and again in 2015, however last week was hauled into court again after he tried to illegally engage the couple in conversation in August last year when he bumped into them in the street.
