justjared.comA new trailer for Theo James‘ upcoming comedy horror movie has been released! The 40-year-old Emmy-nominated actor stars in movie adaption of Stephen King‘s short story The Monkey directed by Longlegs director Osgood Perkins.
Here’s the synopsis: “When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart.
Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy.” Keep reading to find out more…The movie, which was produced by The Conjuring‘s James Wan, also stars Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, Sarah Levy, and Christian Convery.
The Monkey was first published as a booklet included in Gallery magazine back in 1980. The story was revised and published in Stephen‘s Skeleton Crew collection in 1985.
