People with various neurological conditions could qualify for Personal Independence Payments (PIP). Claimants are entitled to the extra help if they have a long-term physical or mental health condition or disability.

PIP helps with living costs, offering a cash boost for increased expenses. More than three million people with medical conditions across the UK are claiming extra cash from the government.

Almost 416,500 of those people are receiving support for a string of neurological conditions. A successful claim for PIP is worth between £26.90 and £172.75 each week, Daily Record reports.
