Two of American sport’s greatest rivalries will go head-to-head in a £8million charity golf tournament on Sunday. Phil Mickelson will take on Tiger Woods in The Match: Champions for Charity, a repeat of the pair’s previous match-up, but this time with a twist.
Mickelson will pair up with Tom Brady, whose six Super Bowl wins exceed the two of Woods’s playing partner Peyton Manning, at Florida’s Medalist Golf Club over 18 holes. "I can't wait to go to Tiger's place and take him down," Mickelson told Golfweek. "Tiger thinks he has a huge advantage playing there because he was insistent that this event is played on his home course.
