The Masked Singer's Bear unmasked as singer Example

The Masked Singer has unveiled the latest celebrity behind the mask after Bear was given the boot and sent packing on Saturday night in the first part of a double elimination.The semi-final kicked off with five characters vying for just three spots in the final on Saturday 15 February.

Bush, Dressed Crab, Wolf, Pufferfish and Bear all belted out tunes for the audience and judges, but ultimately it was Bear who received the least votes and had to unmask.

Judges Jonathan Ross, Richard E Grant, Davina McCall and Maya Jama were taken aback to find out that it was Example who had been entertaining them over the past few weeks, and had impressed the crowd with his rendition of Charles Aznavour's classic She in the semi-final. "It's been great," he said after he took off his bear mask.

Last week, fans were left stunned when there was a double elimination and Kingfisher and Snail's identities were revealed. Kingfisher turned out to be artist Grayson Perry, while Snail was unmasked as singer Andrea Corr.
