‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Identity of Bat: Here Is the Celebrity Under the Costume

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large SPOILER ALERT: Details follow for Season 13, Episode 4 of “The Masked Singer,” “Voices of Olympus: Unmasking of the Gods,” which aired March 5 on Fox. “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay was the latest celebrity to be revealed Wednesday on Fox’s hit music competition series “The Masked Singer.” Shay was unmasked as the Bat, during the show’s “Voices of Olympus: Unmasking of the Gods” themed night.

For Bat, no one got it right — although everyone was in the reality TV arena. Robin Thicke said Bethanny Frankel. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg went with Larsa Pippen.

Rita Ora named Heidi Montag at first, then went with Frankel as well. Ken Jeong thought it was Lisa Rinna. Shay sang “Espresso,” by Sabrina Carpenter, for her performance. “I’m becoming Bat because I’m a creature of the night, and a bit of a bat-ass,” she said in her clue package. “Like bats, I’m one of the most misunderstood creatures ever.

I’ve been forever villainized. Constantly portrayed as a blood sucking backstabber. And to that I say, ‘ew, get over it.’ I’m so not that bat.
