and Canada, as well as the U.K., Argentina, Colombia, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. The screenings are part of a promotional effort aimed at fans of both the novel series by J.R.R.
Tolkien and the films by Peter Jackson.The series had a production budget of more than $400 million, the outlet reported, and was called 'the largest television series ever made' by Stuart Nash, who is the minister for economic development and tourism in New Zealand.
