England's Lionesses are ready to roar, as they take on Spain in the FIFA Women's World Cup final on Sunday, 20 August.The team are in a World Cup final for the first time in their history, after Sarina Wiegman's side beat Australia 3-1 on Wednesday in Sydney.
Lauren Hemp, Alessia Russo and Ella Toone were the stars of the match, scoring a goal each to secure the impressive win, which means today's match is the first time England's women or men have been in a final since 1966.
Despite initial doubts about how well England would do in the competition, following injuries to key players including captain Leah Williamson, as well as striker Beth Mead, they've made it, and are favourites to lift the trophy.
Yesterday the team were spotted at their final training session before today's historic game as they practised on the pitch at Central Coast Stadium.
