Severe disruption has gripped terminals in Manchester Airport with 'tearful' passengers forced to sleep on the floor amid piles of luggage.
One couple stranded in the airport - who should be in Greece now ahead of a wedding - are among thousands of travellers who have been hit with delays and cancellations after a fault with the UK’s air traffic control system. I then booked a flight with TUI to go to Zante after being told at the service desk we could get a ferry to Athens - it turns out there is no ferry.
