The Premier League has confirmed that the competition has been suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
As of 9am on April 3, there had been over 38,000 confirmed cases in the UK and the death toll exceeded 3,000, following another record-breaking day for the number of increases in a single 24-hour period.
