A country park is becoming a hotspot for robberies. Drinkwater Park, in Prestwich, is near the border with Salford and is popular with dog walkers, ramblers and cyclists.
The park merges with several others in the area, creating a vast expanse of woodland, lakes and walk and bridle ways - and adjoins Clifton Country Park, Philips Park, the Outwood Trail, and Hurst Wood at Ringley and Whitefield.
As reported in the Manchester Evening News, police are investigating after a dog walker was 'robbed at knifepoint by masked men' in the popular park.
