We’re now well into the first week of the Easter holidays and if you’re looking for something to occupy the kids, then the Whitworth in Manchester may have just what you need.
The art gallery, located on the edge of Whitworth Park on Oxford Road, has a range of activities on offer throughout the holidays.
This week it’s been hosting drop-in sessions with the charity Afrocats, which has transformed the gallery’s art garden into a “giant outdoor art studio”.
Inspired by the Althea McNish exhibition inside the gallery, the sessions invite families to create their own nature-inspired designs using materials found in nature.
