The Great British Bake Off fans 'love' Alison Hammond as she's welcomed by the Breadfather
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe Great British Bake Off is back and fans are already professing their love for new presenter Alison Hammond. The daytime TV host has replaced Matt Lucas as the host of series 14 alongside Noel Fielding.
In the show's opener - a spoof of the classic film The Godfather - Noel presented Alison before The Breadfather. The head honcho was, of course, Paul Hollywood, who had taken on the persona of Don Pauleone.
After kissing Paul's loaf, Hammond was welcomed into the Bake Off family. But fans of the show were also quick to say how much they enjoyed Hammond's presence in the tent.
