HBO executive vice president Francesca Orsi gave an interview last month that seemed to hint at when The Gilded Age will be back with season three.

She was discussing HBO’s 2025 slate of original TV shows, and mentioned The White Lotus kicked off the year. She then said, “[After White Lotus], we go into The Last of Us; we have a lot to say and do with Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal as well as Kaitlyn Dever and some other new players in the cast.” The Last of Us will debut on HBO on April 13. Then, Task, Brad Ingelsby’s new show that’s for the fall, which is incredibly exciting.” This makes it seem like The Last of Us will end and The Gilded Age will debut right after, which is similar in release dates to how The White Lotus and The Last of Us are ending and debuting.

If this is accurate, then we can figure out a nearly-exact date it could be debuting! For example, we now know that The White Lotus will wrap up on Sunday (April 6), and The Last of Us will pick up the very next week with its debut on Sunday (April 13).
