‘The Daily Show’: Tim Walz Tells Jon Stewart Many Republicans “Want To Find A Reason” Not To Vote For Trump

Appearing Monday on The Daily Show, Walz told Jon Stewart he’s spoken to several Republicans on the campaign trail who “want to find a reason to not vote for Donald Trump” as they no longer feel represented by the MAGA party. “Folks are still talking.
And I know it’s hard to imagine, there’s a lot of folks who are still deciding what they’re gonna do,” he said. “The folks I’m talk to, they’re probably — they are Republicans, and they say it,” noted Walz. “A Republican introduces me in Omaha, he said, ‘I can’t stand with this guy anymore.
That’s not the party of Reagan. This isn’t freedom.’ Whatever it may be, it’s a lot of those folks that are trying to find permission to get off the MAGA stuff and move over.
