Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has revealed he attended the Reds' two cup finals last season and says he is delighted to be back with the club.
After leaving United in 2015 after a nine-year stint with the Reds, Evans returned to the North West on a short-term contract in the summer.
Initially, Erik ten Hag signed him to feature in the summer tour of the US which would allow him to take up a senior role model position while also helping the 35-year-old remain fit after leaving Leicester City.
However, the deal became permanent on deadline day as United scrambled to find cover for their defence at short notice. Evans made his second debut for the club at the weekend when he came off the bench against Arsenal.
