Speaking during a recent episode of the popular afternoon ITV quiz show, Anne, also known as The Governess, confessed she’d be more than up for walking down the iconic cobbles, saying: “please cast me.” Anne made the admission during a chat with The Chase host Bradley Walsh when a former Corrie actress’ name was one of the possible answers to the question she was tackling.
As the 63-year-old tried to work out whether soap legend Violet Carson - who played Corrie’s Ena Sharples - had ever won an Oscar, Bradley suggested Anne herself would be a welcome addition to the soap.
