Thursday's instalment of the ITV show saw player Janty secure an amazing defeat of chaser Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan despite "the worst cash-builder ever", the Mirror reports.Janty came out victorious in her one-on-one clash with The Vixen, with a whopping £40,000 up for grabs.
But she didn't get her time on the show off to the best start, after answering no questions correctly in the opening cash-builder round.Viewers were stunned by Janty's uninspiring performance and took to social media to share their thoughts.
One quipped: "Good Lord, never seen someone get 0." Another remarked: "Did that actually just happen? That was without a doubt the worst cash builder I’ve ever seen."Janty's performance was so poor that The Vixen took pity on her and refused to offer her a sum lower than zero for their face-off.
And the bold contestant, who had described her perfomance as "rubbish", decided to take a risk by accepting the bigger £40,000 offer for their one-on-one quiz battle, after stating: "You're only here once."And she seemed to find her feet in the second round, outsmarting the Chaser and making it through to the final chase with the five-figure sum in the prize fund.A stunned Walsh branded the head-to-head win "unbelievable" as he ran off the set with his arms in the air shouting: "I cannot believe that!"He commented: "Janty that was tremendous.
