Celebrities are resigned to staying indoors just like the rest of the public, but for some being out and about is literally their job.

So in an attempt to still make a living some have signed up to the shoutout app Cameo, where fans can request personalised messages from their idols.The site literally allows you to hire a celebrity to record a video message including anything from birthday wishes, baby reveals, or to tell someone you hate them.

But the messages can come at a cost, with Caitlyn Jenner charging $2,500 (£2,000) for a 21-second video message or Fawlty Towers star John Cleese asking for £249 to record an insulting video for fans.
