Whether you just want a portion of chips, or you want to go all out with a battered fish or sausage - and all the extras - you can’t go wrong with any of these places.
Coming in top position is the Town Street Fryer on Town Street in Stockport’s Marple Bridge. Described by one voter as a ‘proper community hub and asset’, the chippy was praised by many for its great staff, its quality food and its brilliant service.
