A Yorkshire Bed and Breakfast has been bathing in the limelight after being crowned as the creme de la creme of England's B&Bs.
In the annual highlight of the B&B calendar, the AA has announced the latest recipients of its 2024 Bed and Breakfast Awards, with each contender put through their paces by discerning inspectors.
It was Ripon's very own Mallard Grange that snagged the prestigious title of the AA Bed and Breakfast of the Year for England.
The graces showered upon Mallard Grange by the AA were abundant, as they extolled: "A genuine welcome is always guaranteed at homely Mallard Grange."
