The asylum seeker hotels in Greater Manchester which will be closing after government decision

At least two hotels in the city-region - one in Wigan and another in Rochdale - will be closing. They are among the first 50 across the country which will close by the end of January.
Immigration minister Robert Jenrick announced the closures in Parliament on Tuesday (October 24), but said that the government would not be publishing a list of the hotels closing.
Wigan MP Lisa Nandy revealed on social media last night that a hotel in her constituency will be closing. However, the Labour MP, who is also the Shadow International Development Secretary, said the government has not confirmed which of the hotels it will be.
