The Apprentice’s Tim Campbell was named the first ever winner of the programme back in 2005 and was offered a £100,000 per year job.

Now, the successful businessman has now been announced as the new boardroom aide after Lord Alan Sugar's business associate Claude Littner pulled out of the new series due to a cycling accident.Addressing Claude’s unfortunate circumstances, Tim said he and his co-stars are happy he is making a recovery.He also expressed his gratitude after being able to have “come full circle” since his debut on the show.Tim said: “It’s a great honour to be part of the franchise which after sixteen series has been a transformation in terms of showing that business is for everybody, now it’s Lord Sugar’s ambition.“It was a great regret when we heard the news about Claude.“He was such a massive part of the franchise and we’re really pleased that he’s doing well and he’s on the road to recovery.“But it’s a great honour to have come full circle having been on the other side of the table.“I definitely understand what they’re all going through and it’s a great honour to be working alongside Baroness Brady in assisting these candidates to see how they all get on.”The TV star also spoke out on what he found “easy” now as a boardroom member after having been in the contestant’s position.He said: “It was very easy not to give them hints and tips.
