TfGM issues statement after bus crash on roundabout next to retail park

No injuries were reported after a crash involving a bus on a roundabout in Eccles, transport bosses have confirmed. The smash happened on the Ladywell roundabout, close to West One Retail Park, at around 4.30pm on Tuesday (November 19).

Emergency services descended on the scene and part of the roundabout was cordoned off, as well as a stretch of Gilda Brook Road.

A spokesperson for Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) today confirmed that the crash involved a Bee Network bus and another vehicle.

Passengers were on the bus at the time, but no injuries were reported, the spokesperson added.
