Tesco’s chief executive paid a special visit to a newly-refurbished Lanarkshire store to see its refreshed technology and improvements for shoppers.
Ken Murphy met staff and customers at the Coatbridge supermarket, which has recently undergone a four-month refit including installing new fridges and freezers to meet updated environmental standards.
New energy-efficient lighting has also been fitted, with both sets of improvements helping to reduce the branch’s carbon footprint; while customers will also see new shelving and relocated departments.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
