Stone unveiled in Lanarkshire town pays tribute to NHS heroes and those who died during pandemic

A commemorative stone has been laid in a Lanarkshire town to pay tribute to the role NHS workers played during the COVID pandemic.The stone was commissioned by Carluke Rotary Club members to honour the magnificent achievement of the NHS and those who died during those dark days.Carluke councillor Eileen Logan was invited to unveil the stone by Rotary president Alex Brown at the short ceremony in Market Square.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
