The easing of rules means people will be able to meet outside in groups of up to a maximum of six - or with one other household.
Separate households still need to observe social distancing. But the two households (or six individuals) can meet in public outdoor spaces and gardens.
Indoor mixing will still be banned, meaning supermarket shoppers will not be able to visit with anyone outside their household or bubble.
