Those travelling on the LATAM flight LA8073 from Milan, Italy, to São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport, Brazil , heard a 'loud bang' minutes into their international journey.
The pilot was forced to circle around Malpensa Airport for approximately forty minutes to burn off fuel, before making an unexpected landing so mechanics could check for structural damage.
