Tennis ace Sir Andy Murray has confirmed to the PA news agency that he definitely won't be hitting the dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing, saying "certainly not" to the idea. The 37-year-old sportsman, who hung up his professional rackets last year, did however drop a hint that perhaps his brother Jamie also a force to be reckoned with on the tennis courts might fancy a twirl, as he chatted at the BMW PGA Championship Pro-AM in Surrey this Wednesday.
Addressing the Strictly rumours, Sir Andy dished out to PA: "That's highly unlikely. Don't know what my brother will be doing.
But it certainly won't be me, that's for sure." Mum Judy Murray had her own stint on the iconic BBC dance competition, bowing out in Blackpool Tower during week eight of the 12th series.
She gracefully swirled around the dance floor to "Let's Go Fly A Kite" from Mary Poppins with none other than Anton Du Beke, who has since stepped into the role of judge on the show.
