A teenage boy who felt sick after returning to school was left shocked after it was revealed that he had a life- threatening condition.
Tom was just 13 years-old when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme. The condition, also known as GB, is an aggressive and fast-growing brain tumour with an average survival time of just 12-18 months.
Tom first started feeling sick when he returned to school following the first Coronavirus lockdown in 2020 and his mum put it down to his return.
The Echo reported that mum Karen said: "I contacted doctors a few times. When he was off for school holidays in October he said he had double vision."
