Tributes have poured in for an "outgoing and popular" teenage boy who died after "falling ill" at an indoor go-karting centre.
Aiden Cotton, 19, passed away in the "tragic accident" at TeamSport Go Karting on Friday, January 31, at around 8.15pm. Emergency crews raced to the venue in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, following reports of the youngster in cardiac arrest.
Sadly, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.A fundraiser has now been launched by the bricklayer's heartbroken cousin to help his family raise money to cover his funeral costs.
Paying tribute, Kelly Cotton said: "As the cousin to Aiden and behalf of his mum, dad and sisters I'd just like to express what a very kind-hearted hard-working teenager he was."He was very outgoing and did anything for anybody, he was one of a kind.
