A woman has been arrested following a three-car crash on a busy road in Edinburgh. The incident took place on West Granton Road in the north of the city at around 8.25pm yesterday.
A photo of the aftermath of the smash shows a convertible mini and a red Honda with pieces of debris strewn across the road and adjacent pavement.
The mini's front bumper looks to be destroyed as a result of the collision. Several bystanders can be seen surrounding the vehicles as they wait for mercy crews to arrive.
An anonymous source told Edinburgh Live that after dialling 999, emergency services including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service sped to the site to lock down the busy road.
