Two schoolgirls have been rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Glasgow, police have confirmed. Emergency services were called to the scene on Thornliebank Road, outside the BP Seven Sisters petrol station, at around 7pm on Thursday, August 4.

The 14 and 12-year-old were taken to hospital for medical treatment, however their current conditions are not known at this time, Glasgow Live reports.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of two people being struck by a vehicle on Thornliebank Road, Glasgow at around 7pm on Thursday, 4 August, 2022."Two girls, aged 14 and 12, were taken to hospital."
