A sick 'predator' who picked up an 'extremely' drunk underage girl off the street brought her back to his hotel room before sexually assaulting her.

Mark Topps, a father from Whally Range, was handed a five years and three months prison sentence for the horrific crime. His 15-year-old victim found herself naked in a bed the next day with the 33-year-old offender she had never met before, Manchester Evening News reports.

In a panic, she said "I've never seen you in my life, who are you?," after waking up in a Travelodge in Manchester city centre.

Meanwhile, family and friends were desperately searching for her and she was reported missing to police.At first, Topps claimed to have been acting as a Good Samaritan by helping her when she was drunk."Instead, you acted in a predatory manner," a judge said.Topps, who said he didn't realise she was underage, had been 'wandering' the streets before seeing the girl and taking advantage of her.She had been at Manhatta in Manchester city centre earlier that night, drinking prosecco with food before dancing to celebrate a friend's birthday.She became 'extremely drunk' and was not allowed back into the venue.A friend had put her in a taxi with some money to get her home, but she was later 'removed' from the taxi.Still in the city centre, Topps approached her and held her hand.Shortly after he took her to his hotel room, and was seen helping her stay on her feet.Meanwhile a friend reported her missing, after she failed to show up at the friend's house she was supposed to be staying at.The victim had no recollection of what happened in the hotel room, until the next morning when she woke up next to the stranger."I've never seen you in my life, who are you?," she said.She 'ran' out
