An East Kilbride youth faces charges after an alleged knife incident at Strathaven Academy.The 17-year-old male, who cannot be named because of his age, is accused of striking a door repeatedly, demanding entry to the school, shouting abuse, making threats and acting aggressively while in possession of a blade.A separate charge states that he was carrying a bladed item in public without reasonable excuse.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
