A Sense of Home has launched Home Bank LA to help survivors of the L.A. wildfires. Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, Ambassador Nicole Avant, and HGTV’s Drew Scott are among the early supporters of the initiative.

Home Bank LA will offer survivors home kits, which include essential home items such as furniture, kitchenware, bedding, cleaning supplies, health and hygiene products, and other household necessities. “As our community members move into rentals and temporary housing, we will provide over 300 items color-coded by rooms that will enable a small group to fully furnish a home in only 90 minutes.

We provide everything from the bed to the toothbrush to the sofa,” Georgie Smith, CEO and Founder of A Sense of Home, said in a statement.

A Sense of Home is a nonprofit dedicated to preventing homelessness by creating first-ever homes and a community for youth aging out of foster care.
