A 14-year-old rescue dog has finally been adopted and is in a loving home after spending 11 years at a shelter. Wiggles was adopted last Sunday by a couple who recently lost a pooch to cancer.
Her carers believed her large benign tumour on her thigh had seen her overlooked for adoption. The pitbull cross was described as a “nice, sweetheart of a dog” by the operators of The Five A's Humane Society.
